Time of year for crabgrass too. Sometimes takes several Weed-B-Gone


applications. The key, this time of year is to raise mower height. After 30 years, I found that to be the key to keep weeds out.
From July 4th to Labor day, My mower height is as high as I can go. I hate it because I love the look of a nice "tight" short cut, but raising the height in heat of summer make all the difference in the battle against weeds.
