For scheduling purposes, I am not sure it is feasible to have 3 or 4


conferences with 20 members and 1 conference (i.e. Pac) to have fewer members. Even if all 4 ended up with 20 members, then it may not be feasible especially if the schools decide to try to get antitrust exemptions.

If there are going to be 80 or even 100 schools in this division and they want antitrust exemption, then they may need to break up into 8 conferences with 10 members or 10 conferences with 10 members. It may make things tricky trying to slot everyone especially if a school could "fit" in multiple regions (i.e. Penn St could go East or North).
