I'd like the college rule a lot better if they would move the ball back to


the 40.

To me, you should at least be able to get 1-2 first downs before being in field goal range. I've seen a lot of overtimes where one team marches down to the 4 yard line, bogs down, and kicks a field goal then the other team plays conservative, goes backwards, and kicks a field goal to force another OT.

You should have to move the ball at least a little bit to earn your points in overtime.
