I dunno. Both teams made enough "big plays" to score the same points


After 60 minutes both teams were equal on the scoreboard. Possession of the ball in football is a bigger deal than any other (popular American) sport. Gifting that advantage to one team via a coin toss without a way for the other team to have a guaranteed bite at the apple just doesn't make sense to me.
