The key item here is espn (sic) allowed the ACC to stay at 8+1.


After the network agreement, which truly goes into effect in 2019, called for EITHER 9+1 or 8+2. All of a sudden, Mickey changes his mind and allows the ACC to stay as it was pre network agreement.

espn knows something that changed their mind. espn never does anything that isn't in their best financial interest.
