The Big 10 has lots of exceptions to the Power 5 rule anyway

They just ask the league office for a waiver and get it whenever they want to consider a G5 team to be a power 5 for the purposes of that scheduling agreement. UConn, Army, and Cin have all be waivered recently. It is safe to assume that anyone on the Big 12 expansion list would pass the waiver, if not just about anyone in the G5 if they needed it.
