Nobody is suggesting they do not play.

Let's just make it so that only division games count in determining who plays in the ACCCG. THEN, you mix up the divisions randomly. That would make it much more fair for all parties involved.

If the ACC is discussing and voting on changing their football schedules, then competitiveness and quality of competition should absolutely be considered.

I just want the structure that allows for the most visits to Lane Stadium by Clemson, FSU, and Miami as possible. I've had season tickets for nearly two decades now, and outside of the UVA game, those are the only ACC games that regularly get me hyped. Those games put butts in seats not only in the stadiums, but infront of TVs too.

Mix up divisions every 2 years randomly, make only the 6 division games required, and then allow teams to schedule each other as they see fit. If VT and UVA aren't in the same division, they would have 6 entire games to work with in scheduling each other. Same goes for rivalries such as FSU vs. Miami.
