Everyone is lobbying for what could be the last round ...

of Power 5 (or 4) for another decade or more. I have a feeling this year will see more expansion but we may not see any further expansion for 10 or more years. The question is how many universities will eventually end up in the Power 5 (or 4)? I think 72 is almost a given and 80 is a real possibility. 65 isn't the final number. Many here have been saying 4 Power conferences with 20 members. Maybe something like the ACC and Big 10 with 20 each, the SEC and Pac 12 (16) with 16 each? That would give the Power 4 72 members. Will Notre Dame, Navy, Army, Air Force, and BYU make it 77 as Independents or will all 5 of those schools be included in the 72?
