I've caught a few games both VT and non-VT in NYC and you're wrong

People who want to see the games in bars are definitely there for the game and are very passionate. NYC probably has 20X the number of bars ATL has so no, not every bar will be packed with rabid fans. But the total number of eyeballs glued to games in NYC is very likely higher in NYC than ATL.

NYC is a city of 8million+ and that doesn't include the 'burbs of NJ, LI, CT and Westchester. Atlanta has fewer that 500,000 residents. But if you're talking about the percentage of people who are into college football, then yes Atlanta is higher.
