This is what Swofford and company are touting

In the negotiations and discussions with ESPN. If we're the 3rdmost watched, then we should be paid as such. That along with the recent resurgence of ACC football at just the right time is a great argument in our favor. Also add in the factor of being the most watched and best basketball conference by a very large margin and a great population footprint. All of the waiting is frustrating, but these are very strong factors in our favor. This is why I remain cautiously optimistic. We'll see how it plays out.
