I'm pretty sure air is out, and too early for steam (I think). also...

the fact that I can turn truck off when on dead red and when I start it again, it is back to normal makes me think it isn't actually that hot, or it would stay at the red line.

Side note: I read last night that when the needle goes to max (past red) it indicate not an actual temp problem -0 I just don't know.
