I don't think any apology is necessary...


Stating facts shouldn't require an apology, and it's my opinion that anyone taking issue with your post is being overly protective or sensitive. You didn't say anything that an announcer on TV wouldn't say, and I don't see anything in your post to suggest any specific player wasn't super valuable. While personal attacks would be uncalled for, which I didn't see, surfacing something a team or player needs to improve is part of normal fan dialogue.

When it comes to the playoffs, a team is often eliminated based on a team's weakness. Sometimes the weakness can not be improved, as the team must accept the asset with the liability, but I agree reducing errors is very important. When I've watched some other teams defense I've noticed they are super fast and appear more skilled in that area than VT. Not saying VT is bad, but our defense isn't why we are ranked top 5.
