This young lady is a star in the making who's playing a new position. She


played SS (and also pitched a perfect game) in high school and during travel ball. For those that haven't played SS verses 3B, there's more than a subtle difference. Be thankful our team is talented enough to have her back as she adjusts. She passed up a lot of other offers to come to VT and be a HOKIE and deserves our thanks and support. Criticism of any players' fielding or hitting serves no positive purpose regardless of how well intended. They instead need to know that the fans are behind them even when they make a mistake. That's when they need us the most!!!
