Actually , it's not debatable...those were , by rule , illegal...

...and again , by rule , the majority are wrong by not calling it. I agree that the intent of the rule is that the pitcher not gain an advantage and one can make a case either way in Emma's case...but going forward , esp. in conference play , coaches are going to make sure the umps are hyper-aware of this.
