The initial push off the rubber isn’t allowed.

Now why does Pete disagree with how it’s written? Because when NCAA tries to take Judgement out of officials hands, they re-word rules or change them because their officials are so BAD. Basically they state that the plant foot isn’t supposed to leave the ground which is in contrast to the TRUE USA softball rules which allow leaping
