Based on what I have seen, sometimes Lemley's foot comes off way more than

other pitchers. Furthermore, based on what I have seen enforced in several games, if it just comes off a little, it is not typically called. Therefore, while I know the coaches know way more than I do, from a practical perspective, my opinion is they need to work on reducing how much Lemley's foot comes of the ground. For some of the pitches today, it looked like her foot was 3-4 inches off the ground, and then once it started getting called, even when she did a better job, a few got called.

So, in summary, I think they need to work on reducing how far her foot comes off the ground so that it is not so egregious/obvious sometimes. Once Lemley does not stand out from what other pitchers do in this respect, there will not be a focus on what Lemley does.

It will be interesting to see what happens and what adjustments, if any, Tech makes.
