The quote below is from the article on last night’s Hokie win. Green had already thrown 106, and was going back out. Any kind of inning would have put him at 120+. Surely if I hunted for a couple of hours I would find several last night in college baseball. A friend told me today that Florida’s ace threw 130+ in one game this year. It’s not as common as 25 years ago, but it happens regularly. Hope I’ve proved my point.

The plan was for Green to head back out to the bump for the eighth inning.
