Absolutely - I have no qualifications either, but maybe a start...


there's a number of suicide hotlines, maybe call one of them yourself and explain the situation, and see what they suggest?

If this other person is a veteran or a member of any other large group, there may be a specialized hotline that's even more equipped to deal with it.

Good luck to you and your loved one. Hopefully everyone can get through it.
