And can be fired for any reason at any time. But yeah, there was obviously a cause. You don't call an emergency meeting and fire a guy in one day without a pretty damn good cause. But firing him without cause entitles him to 18mos salary ($300K) and benefits. I'm sure the teachers who aren't getting the promised raise will love that he got a sweet golden parachute.
