Yes. To me, the biggest game changer in college football in the last
several decades was the Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC announcement. Bigger than any of the previous expansions. Bigger than NIL. Bigger than CFP expansion, etc.
And the move to me was almost exclusively negative to most parties (especially the remaining BigXII). It was also done, in conjunction the CFP-12 scheme, in an underhanded way.
It's a brinksmanship era for everyone now after the OU/UT and the SEC did what they did.
