Correct on the first.


On the second bit, I certainly didn't ignore. Disregard after consideration, maybe. You keep making a point that's tangential to where this started. It's an ok point. It's not untrue and you do support it. However, it's fairly irrelevant to the argument I'm making.

It is often difficult, sometimes even impossible, to finish a degree in 4 years. I get it. However, the overwhelming common standard of curriculum design for undergraduate degrees is that they are 4 year programs. "But my program changed the schedule" does not refute this point. "But this study says people take 5 years on average" does not refute this point. "But when I wanted to change to computer science it was going to take me 4.5 years" does not refute this point. And that 4-year standard is why I say it's silly to think that universities would change the "5 to play 4" standard for student athletes.

I can't make it any clearer and will stop now.
