Yes, things obviously can get in the way of plans


and people often take more than the designed 4 years for a multitude of reasons...as the study you shared demonstrates. My point still stands.

Universities are not going to shift from "5 to play 4" for academic reasons...because they haven't actually changed their designs with respect to degree length.
