Syracuse and uva are not good basketball teams. Syracuse has a bad defense


and without Edwards they are awful defensively. Which is why I wonder how we could be so bad offensively against them. Thank goodness for Justin Mutts.

uva's the opposite. Their defense is very good but their offense is horrific. They are very well coached and play hard. But we had no business losing to them in Jan and beating them at home is not a huge accomplishment.

So winning those games "despite shooting poorly" just means we beat them by less than we *should* have.
