Nothing says that VT's 3-point shooting mean is fixed

plus, while a larger sample will tend to have a mean closer to the population mean than a smaller one, that doesn't say anything about individual observations in the short term

this notion of being "due" with respect to streaks ending or of high measures increasing the likelihood of future low ones (and vice-versa) just isn't true
