His point is, people bailing on the program because the team has lost

a bunch of close games and not living up to the expectations set forth in preseason media one year after a pandemic-screwed season gave a too early expectation of how good the program should be right now, is a little short-sighted.

I've got no problem debating the merits of Sean/Darius starting or playing more minutes, questioning why in the world we didnt' call a TO at 8 sec. and run a set OOB play for a good shot last night, or even if you think MY should switch from eating a pregame pretzel instead of popcorn. That's great. But people bailing on the program and calling for firing is just plain stupid. Saying the AD is needing to be relieved of duties because the Men's basketball team is underachieving (meanwhile the women's team is having an excellent season) is just ignorant.
