The ACC's decision to expand from 12 members to 14 members has had a bigger


impact than the ACC's decision to implement a quasi zipper model. Heck you could even say that the ACC didn't even implement a true zipper model or mucked up implementing a zipper model (take your pick here). A true zipper model would have meant that BC and Syracuse wouldn't both be in the Atlantic Division. Likewise, UVA and VT wouldn't both be in the Coastal Division.
