You do not want to keep someone that is positive in a dorm with non


positive. That is essentially spreading it throughout the entire dorm. Many people who come in contact with COVID positive people do not catch it so quarantining exposed people in their dorms lowers the risk of an outbreak.

Isolation dorms are kept empty on purpose and COVID positive students stay in a room alone by themselves for 10 days before being released back into gen pop.

Just because the SEC is doing it does not make it the correct approach.
