That is the biggest problem with all of this. No one can define ...

'contained', 'controlled', or any other term politicians keep using to determine when we can 'move on', which is also undefined. As it stands now, we will be in the current status quo indefinitely/forever and we could all still be wearing masks next spring and mass gatherings will still be disallowed. There are absolutely no standards or goals or anything else measurable that says 'ok - if we hit this we can go to games, concerts, etc and stop wearing masks'. To me, that is the most frustrating thing and JMU is a perfect example. Someone or some group decided that the current rate of positive tests exceeded some arbitrary limit and kids were sent home ... where they can infect folks who HAVEN'T been in a college environment. Seems backwards to me.
