This is where the teachers lose me. And I'm certainly not advocating


full return to school. I don't know the correct answer. I don't think anyone does. But the belief that teachers shouldn't be put at risk and their lives thrown upside down really frosts me. Policeman, firefighters, restaurant workers, retail workers, grocery workers, factory workers, and of course health care workers, etc, etc, etc... have all put themselves at risk. I haven't seen my elderly mother since early March due my exposure risk with my job and doubt I'll feel comfortable by Christmas. Why are teachers somehow immune to putting themselves at risk when so many others already are?
