We haven't seen our parents since last X-mas and won't see them until 2021
at the earliest. My wife works in a medical facility and, while she wears a mask and gloves, she is in physical contact with patients (also masked) every day. We also have two school aged kids (home with me as I generally work from home). Our parents are in their mid 70s, and are in generally good health, although one has type 1 diabetes, so that's more risk than we want to tolerate.
If they have face-to-face school this fall, your wife will be indoors in relatively close contact with many kids for significant lengths of time. None of us really know for sure, and, like the rest of life, it's all risk evaluation and risk tolerance. Not an easy choice. [Post edited by BB Hokie at 07/15/2020 10:04AM]
