Are you crazy AND apparently talking outta your ass & dont know all the facts..... ABSOLUTELY THE POLICE is the right entities to send, heres why (in detail)...

1. The Wendy's manager on the 911 call said she had a man asleep in his car IN THE DRIVE THRU lane, that people could not get around him & interrupting normal flow of the business & she had already tried to get him awake & moved but he APPEARED TO BE INTOXICATED

2. The occupant in question is driving a CAR (POLICE enforce traffic laws using cars that have to be registered, insured etc LAWS)

3. This person is operating a MOTOR VEHICLE ON THE ROAD - AGAIN THERE ARE LAWS.... they could be INTOXICATED (ALCOHOL) or HIGH from a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (I.E. PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, STREET DRUGS - POT, COCAINE, CRACK, HEROIN ETC) to which it is against THE LAW to drive UNDER THE INFLUENCE, not only endangering their self, but others. Other than alcohol or some sort of controlled substance, the occupant couldve been extremely tired from working a double shift or they could have a medical condition called NARCOLEPSY (google it)....

4. So again, based on the info given to dispatchers on 911 call from the business manager... where a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR is disrupting the drive thru traffic by being passed out from something ... to which OFFICERS are TRAINED TO DETERMINE what the cause is by performing SOBRIETY TESTS, BREATHALYZERS, LOOKING AT PUPIL REACTIONS TO LIGHT, PAT DOWN SEARCH ETC and depending on the results of these formulary protocols (which were done by the book, with respect & decency for 43 minutes & when the citizen was informed he had failed the sobriety tests, was too inebriated to SAFELY DRIVE (blood alcohol was .108 (thats 10.8 %, legal limit is 8% or .08)

So BY LAW in the state of Georgia, and per their sworn duty to uphold the law and keep him & other Georgians safe, they had to place him under arrest for DUI..... AND its so very sad that Mr Brooks' very poor & unjustified decision to break the law by A. resisting arrest B. assaulting police officers C. stealing possession of an officers weapon D. fleeing arrest and E. discharging a weapon at an officer... LED to a VERY THREATENING & HIGH STRESS SITUATION that DID NOT have to happen but because of these unnecessary actions & stress & threats of bodily injury to officers and others the OFFICER WHO IS A HUMAN BEING who also may make a mistake after a high stress, unnecessary threat to him & his partner & others in the area which is exactly what happened BECAUSE if these officers were irrational, racists white cops looking to brutalize another "innocent" black person like so many protesters or the mayor of atlanta or the media want to portray THEN THEY WOULDNT HAVE SPENT 43 MINUTES EXECUTING A FLAWLESS STOP OR INVESTIGATION WHILE TREATING THIS INDIVIDUAL WITH COMPLETE RESPECT & DIGNITY & CONVERSING WITH HIM TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF WHAT WAS WRONG - if they were BAD COPS that are part of a SYSTEMIC RACISTS SYSTEM OF COP CULTURE then they wouldnt have given this citizen all his due rights & a chance to explain or a breathalyzer instead they couldve just beat him up or shot him in the head when they got there.... THIS IS A FALSE NARRATIVE JUST USE TO DEMONIZE ALL POLICE & TRYING TO FLIP THE POWER DYNAMIC & TRYING TO GET SOME TYPE OF REVERSE JUSTICE FOR SITUATION where there HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE INSTANCES IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS OF GLORIFIED SITUATIONS CAUGHT ON CAMERA OR BODY CAM AND THEN OVER MAGNIFIED but do not get me wrong --- SOME CHANGES IN POLICING DOES NEED TO CHANGE NOT ONLY FOR THE BLACK COMMUNITY WHICH SOME INSTANCES SEEMS TO BE TARGETED BUT CHANGES NEED TO HAPPEN IN GENERAL BECAUSE NO PERSON SHOULD BE TREATED EXCESSIVELY ETC... but this is a classic case where law enforcement was doing their job to a tee UNTIL a stupid decision where people do not need to resist NO MATTER YOUR COLOR, GENDER ETC bc police have & will make mistakes with anyone.... WE HAVE TO STOP DEMONIZING POLICE BC OF THE FEW THAT DO IT WRONG-- WHAT ON THE HELL WOULD WE DO WITHOUT POLICE
