Even I knew the whole dialogue before this, wet markets (there's a really large one in Bangkok too) viruses jumping species, "zoonotic" this has been known for years. Just like we have an oil reserve why don't we have a warehouse somewhere filled with N95 masks?

Reminds me of a study during the Clinton years, that is, the Clinton administration did the study, of I think the Department of Education, well, they learned they spent 70% of their efforts doing studies, gotta pay those PHd's instead of doing something simple like buying and storing needed items.
