Exactly. Most day-traders are no better than gamblers & weathermen.

When they're right (or when they win), they're more than happy to tell you a story.

But you rarely hear about their losses.

Also, as you hinted --- almost anybody can make money by buying the dip, buying the dip, buying the dip...........as long as the Market keeps going up (which it has for 10+ years).
