Curious... do the institutional investors that do after hours trading


or "pre-market" or whatever it is, do they get the prices of the stocks at close yesterday, or do they place the trade the INSTANT the market opens today and pay the price we see the market opens? OR, Does, for instance, the FIRST person to place a trade get the price from yesterday, then because of their trade, the price goes up and the second person gets that new price, but because computers do all of that, the price just jumps up in milliseconds from virtually instantaneous trades?
