Anyone familiar with Hold Harmless contracts for residential property?

I'm purchasing lot beside my house that contains a utility right of way. I expect neighbor to ask if he can drive SUV down the right of way to get to his land behind the neighborhood. Brief Google search led me to hold harmless (indemnity) contracts. I really don't care if he drives on the right of way but don't want him to be able to sue us if he drives into the ditch and hurts himself. Do hold harmless contracts hold up in court? Will State Farm freak out if I ask if they have a standard form for this?? Thanks in advance.
