I'm an optimist


I expect the football program to survive and continue using The Rent. What the schedule might look like and whether FOX may lend us some scheduling assistance with the Big 12 and Big 10 remains to be seen. Of course I'm hoping so.
A dream scenario has us rekindling with regional teams like UMass, BC, Rutgers, Syracuse, etc., scheduling games with other independents like BYU, UMass (again), Army, etc and then maybe a Pay-per-play game or 2 with a large school that gives us a good pasting for cash like VT maybe or Clemson (already schedule). Throw in some home and homes, and maybe entice some with hoops home and home as well, and we've got ourself a schedule.
Sounds like UConn has approved the move but is remaining silent until the Big East announces it tomorrow.
How did the unheard of Digital Sports Network break this? Odd.
