Right now, Navy is in the AAC West, and I would bet they would prefer to be in the AAC East to minimize travel costs, as would all the other members of the conference.

This new lineup would make good geographical sense:

East: Cincy, ECU, Temple, UCF, USF, Navy
West: Houston, Memphis, Tulsa, Tulane, SMU, Rice/So.Miss

I know Rice and Houston are in the same market, but if Houston ever leaves for the BigXII, it would keep the AAC in Houston.
