Agree. At one time, back in my youth, VA had 5 schools, close to equal.

VPI, UVA, Richmond, W&M, and VMI. When the NCAA split up D1 football into D1A and D1AA, a division took place. You had the Big Dogs, VT & UVA, and the others. Of course since that time, VMI became a Chihuahua in the D1AA ranks. I know VMI people are a very proud bunch, but that school should either drop to D2, or probably D3.

Of course lately, both Liberty which didn't even exist in my youth, and ODU have jumped into the big dog arena of D1A football. However, they are still puppies in that arena.
