I did mention toward the end of my post that PSU owns a lot of NJ. But Rutgers is the SUNJ for what that’s worth in athletic terms.

As for SU, they are the Empre State’s team north and west of the Catskills, and even in parts of the Catskills too. NYC and Long Island is a hodgepodge and they really only care about pro sports. ND, Michigan, PSU and even schools like Florida and Miami have as much stake in NYC than Syracuse.

BYU is a National school like ND. But Utah is a big Mormon center. Therefore The reason why I placed a Utah as a school that almost owns their State.
