A 1-loss SEC team will receive higher consideration than anyone else

The B-1X is next in the pecking order. They'll usually receive the benefit of the doubt even with one loss.

The ACC champ probably needs to be undefeated to ensure a playoff spot. Anytime our champ has 1-loss, we're definitely on the edge...leaning out.

Big-12 & Pac-12 are a coin flip.

Undefeated G5 teams are definitely on the outside looking in. Something extraordinary has to happen before one gets in, such as multiple P5 champs with 2+ losses.
