Clemson is in if they beat Pitt (which they should). Alabama gets in if they beat Georgia (I think they get in even if they lose to UGa). UGa, Oklahoma, Washington State, or someone else gets the 4th seed. I'd love to see UCF get it but it won't happen. Meanwhile, your Irish are sitting pretty at 12-0 with no conference championship game to play (and doing no worse than a #3 seed). Looks like there's no need for conference membership for football. Virginia Tech is in a conference and we only went 12-0 once (1999 season) and made it to the national championship game. This will be Notre Dame's second chance at a national championship since 2012. Not too bad. Congrats!
