I know when I do my low n slows I shoot for 250

but as long as I'm above 220, i'm not really that concerned with getting 250 on the nose. I just know that if I'm at 280 it will cook a little faster. if I'm w/n 30 degrees of target temp, I feel good about things. I'll leave my bottom damper the way it is, and slightly open or close my top and just run with that.
