Yeah...the bleeding helps! I did a 30 mile uphill climb from


Sylva NC up to Balsam Gap (highest point on Blue ridge Pkwy) and as I pulled into the overlook with 50 people on a Sunday afternoon....... fell right over clipped to the bike. Dayum!

Actually I have really really wide feet and no luck finding bike shoes that work. So I got platform peddles like some Mtn Bikers use and some EEEEE New Balance 626's. Peddles from San Fran to LaLa Land (540 mi) with no numbness or problems!
