Would the ACC be willing to give that up as an annual conference game?

Even though UNC and UVA would be willing to continue it as an OOC game, I believe the ACC would lose whatever marketing and bragging rights it has on the game for the seasons the game is played as an OOC game. Considering that the ACC may be "competing" against the SEC's "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry" (aka Auburn vs. Georgia), preserving the continuation of the annual conference game may be important to the ACC. After all the ACC currently has a leg up on the SEC since the "South's Oldest Rivalry" is a longer continuous rivalry than the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry."
