Well there's other ways programs profit.


If we were in a league that provided better matchups, ticket sales would no longer be a problem. If we had a steady stream of B1G East or SEC East foes coming through Bburg, we would be able to charge $75/ticket. We would also be able to charge more for seat payments and the likes. Heck, we would do a ton better if the ACC provided its best possible matchups for VT.

I think most those top tier schools play 7 home games regularly too. Even if that 7th is against JMU or ECU, it is still worth millions to the AD and university.
