for head football coach - more than 50% more - who do you think we could have gotten to come to VT that would have been better fit than CJF?

Now maybe you improve your non-rev coaches, but I really don't see how we could have improved on the potential of Buzz or CJF - we're not getting Saban, Coach K or Miles, even for $10M - and I just don't see who we could have gone after that lack of another couple of $M kept us from getting - admittedly I might be missing someone...

Even great name hires fail, often because they don't produce quick enough for what they are paid. The right fit is much more important.
