But with the schools you listed, would say the ACC's "big 4" football programs are at least equal to the majority of the Big 10's "relevant" teams. Would also say, with the exception of Bama and possibly LSU, the ACC's "big 4" are at least equal to the rest of the SEC schools you listed.

If ESPN's push of the SEC turned off fans of other conference as much as it did me, then the SEC has a lot less interest than you think outside of the SEC footprint. Frankly I refuse to watch the SEC channel, and I'm POed that I'm forced to pay for it with Cox. (I get the two SEC channels on my sports package, but not the B1X or P-12 channels.) The only time I'll watch a SEC game is on the extremely rare occasion when they're playing someone decent OOC, and I always root for them to lose.

I owe my loathing of the SEC directly to ESPN. I was pretty neutral on the SEC until the year prior to the release of the SECN...that's when they really started trashing the ACC.
