If ESPN had spent their money on the B1G, then the ACC would need

another partner. "If" the B1G goes with NBC for the lower tier, then this gets even more interesting. It's not good for ND. They will not have their own channel.

If somehow ESPN gets back in on the B1G, then I could easily see the ACC heading for NBC. As I have been saying for years, NBC has been setting up for more sports business...they are going to get it one way or another.

The last thing is the B1G is setting the market rate. The networks want national coverage. I have never bought that the Mid-West and Southeast is all they want for coverage. The math just doesn't work.
