I agree with you that the NW of old is in the "irrelevant" category.

However, has the program done enough to where people can start saying "this ain't your daddy's NW program anymore" because it has built some consistency of success? You might even say that NW is where Stanford was before it started to regularly appear in BCS/New Year's Day Six bowl games and consistently have Top 15 seasons.
