who watches what/where and they invest accordingly.

The ACC is behind the SEC and B1G in football viewing interest. But the B1G just set the rate for the current market. It is the first deal since the cord cutting really became measurable. So there is no need to guess what the ACC media contract is worth and ESPN isn't getting out of the college sports broadcasting business. As Stech notes, NBC isn't either. ESPN isn't going to get a cut rate deal just because.
